Wait, wait ,wait, for a husband to come, so fill your glass with slackened rum. The world still turns, your heart still burns, looking for a place to churn. But you hate me, then you love me, even when I’m wrong - you’re gonna’ miss me when I’m gone – you’re gonna’ miss me being wrong. By the time we hit the road, the sky expands and the world explodes, and where’s my wedding ring – amongst all those other things?! Promises broken and promises bent, you ponder if the years were well spent, love floats on tattered wings, you hate so much, your heart’s just a thing. And now the time is finally here, never a bride I’m afraid, my dear. The earth has lost it’s way, and all that’s left to say; is I hope you enjoyed your love and hate, in times where things might have been so great. So embrace the mighty boom, and laugh your last…cause we all find our doom.
